The fastest and easiest way to set up your league is by importing it via the Import League option. But even without going through the import process, the Draft Dominator makes it super easy to adjust basic league settings with just a few clicks.
Note: We recommend using Google Chrome to get the best experience with Draft Dominator on your desktop.
Getting Started
The first step to unlocking the power of the Draft Dominator is logging into your Footballguys account. Enter your existing username and password. If you don’t already have an account, create one here: Create Footballguys Account.
Adjusting Basic Settings
On Chrome or a desktop, hover over the Draft Settings button at the top of the screen and select the Basic Settings option. On mobile, tap the Gear icon at the bottom of the screen and select Basic Settings near the app's top.
Basic Draft Settings allow you to choose between mock and real drafts, snake or salary cap drafts, the number of rounds, and you can also name your draft. Under Basic League Settings, you can name your league, choose the number of teams, choose which site’s ADP you want to reference (more on this next), set the number of playoff teams, and which weeks the playoffs will cover.
The ADP defaults to a consensus of multiple sources. You can change it to site-specific, adjust auto-draft settings for mocks, and change how the Draft Dominator predicts who your opponents will draft next in real drafts. This is a useful feature if you know that some of your league-mates use a specific ADP as one of their main sources for deciding which players to draft and when.
The Best-ball/Draftmaster checkbox adjusts the positional need balances (lowering quarterbacks, for example) and boosts certain players with higher week-to-week variance, such as Tyreek Hill.
Select Dynasty League if you are setting up a Dynasty League.
To save your settings, click or tap Done. If you need help or more information, head to the More menu (top left on the desktop, bottom right on mobile) and select Help and Support. And as always, thanks for being a part of Footballguys!
