In Draft Dominator, here's what to do if you are in a Keeper League and the teams have to give up a draft pick for a keeper.
Import Your League
Once you've imported your Keeper League, review the keepers by hovering over Draft Settings and clicking Keepers:
Depending on the status of your league, you'll either have Keepers already designated or you'll have to manually add the Keepers in your league. If your league does not have any designated Keepers, follow the below steps to designate a Keeper and enter the draft pick that the Keeper will take in your upcoming draft.
In Auction Drafts, Draft Dominator will ask for an auction $ value instead of a pick. This can be set to 0 if the keeper comes at no cost.
Designate Keeper and Draft Pick
Referencing the above screenshot, follow the steps below to designate a Keeper and a draft pick:
- Select the team that will have the Keeper. In our example, we are selecting Team 1.
- In the Search Box, enter some portion of the player's name. In our example, we are selecting C. McCaffrey.
- Select the draft pick that the team will have to give up for the selection of C. McCaffrey. You can select "No Pick" or Round Number and the pick in that round. For our example, we will pick Round Number 1 and Pick Number 1.
In the above example, Team # 1 is drafting first, they have designated C. McCaffrey as a Keeper and they have given up their Round 1, Pick 1 for this player.
Please note: If you designate a player as a keeper and assign the player to a draft pick that that team does not own, the player will not be a keeper. Example: You designate A. Kamara to Team 4 with pick 1.03, and that team does not own the 1.03 pick, A. Kamara will not be a keeper in the draft and will stay in the player pool.
